4. LUTZ MORRIS, Tina Lutz
German – born designer Tina Lutz founder launched the label Lutz Morris to go against the fast fashion industry, with her audience being primarily environmentally fashion conscious women. Tina focuses on creating items that are high quality so they would be long-lasting. Each bag is handcrafted in Germany by businesses over centuries old, and each of them are crafted by the closet factories in order reduce the shipping distance and carbon footprint. Moreover, the brand also gives a small donation to EveryMotherCounts.org from their bag profits, The non-profit organisation’s goal is to make pregnancy and childbirth for mothers globally.
5. STORY MFG, Katy and Saeed Al - Rubeyi
Married couple Katy and Saeed Al – Rubeyi launched Story MFG to offer clothing that are environmentally friendly. Natural dyes are the root of their dye collections. The dyeing process is done in a re-planted forest to reduce carbon footprint, the reimaing waste is then used to fertilise the garden and organic materials are used. To achieve their sustainable clothing goal, the techniques and procedures to create the products are used from vintage workwear and military to ensure the clothing are durable.
