Kalmar is a holistic wellbeing and resort-wear brand rooted in spiritual self-discovery. Our clothing collection and scented self-care products are designed to realign the mind, body and soul – a luxurious, versatile way for the modern woman to connect with her innermost self. Founded by writer, dancer and spiritual healer Karen Ruimy, Kalmar is centred around Joy, Calm, Peace and Love – the four soul states which guide every element of our existence.

The most direct path to the soul is through the senses. Our collection of resort-wear is inspired by the vivid colour, prints and fluid silhouettes found throughout Moroccan culture, Karen’s native home. Timeless, elegant, glamorous and feminine, it is designed for the city-dwelling woman who loves to travel. From kaftans to evening dresses, footwear to jewellery, the collection takes her from the beach to a summer cocktail party, allowing her to choose the way she wants to feel. Our candle blend contains natural vegetable waxes. Our wicks are lead-free and made from pure cotton.

In this gentle guided meditation, our founder @karenruimy will invite you to learn to receive and create love for yourself, and in so doing, to hold it for others. Take a seat, close your eyes, and turn your attention inwards. She will lead you as you inhale a soft pink energy and exhale the tension of your day.

Kalmar is committed to environmental consciousness. We aim for sustainability wherever possible as the Earth is the most precious resource of all. We are proud to be a member of Forest Carbon’s Carbon 100 club. For every item sold, we will plant one tree in Carbon Club woodlands across the UK – all certified under the Woodland Carbon Code. This is to offset any resulting carbon footprint.

Our products are not tested on animals, nor do we use suppliers who test them on our behalf. Our products are also vegan-friendly and free from toxic ingredients. The precious actives in Kalmar products are always sustainably sourced.

All our boxes are FSC certified, whilst most of our inner packaging can be recycled or reused. The packaging industry is evolving quickly, and we are in constant discussion with sustainability experts to plan for the future. Consideration for the environment is at the heart of our product development.

Shipping Countries Kalmar ships globally, with the exception of South America and Russia at the moment. Processing & Delivery Times Due to the on-going COVID-19 situation, the order processing and shipping time may take a day or two longer. We are doing our utmost best to get orders sent out as soon as we can. Orders received by 12pm GMT will be shipped the next day. Orders placed after 12pm GMT will be processed the following business day. You will receive a tracking number as soon as your package ships. Deliveries within the UK can be expected to arrive in 2-3 working days. Deliveries within the EU can be expected to arrive in 3-5 working days. International deliveries can be expected to arrive in 7-15 days. All UK purchases will be delivered where upon a signature is required. All international purchases will be dispatched by our worldwide shipping partners. Kalmar does not ship on weekends or UK holidays. Duties & Taxes All non EU orders are shipped on a DDP (Delivery Duty Paid) bases.
