How to take care of your candle
Lighting your candle for the first time: Soy wax has a burn memory. When lighting your candle for the first time We recommend that you burn your candle for a min of 2-3 hours continuously to allow the wax to create it’s memory. This allows the whole surface of your soy candle to fully melt in an even melt pool and avoids tunneling. The melt pool is where the scents are released. An even melt pool will result in a beautiful scent throw. The aim should be to have a full surface layer of melted liquid soy wax, evenly melted before extinguishing.
For a better burning experience, trim candle wick before each use to prevent mushrooming of the candle wick. Mushrooming will make your candle burn quicker, and creates a build up of soot. The mushroom will fall off into the wax, which creates a fire hazard. We recommend using our wick trimmers to trim your wick before you re-light as these are specially designed to cut candle wicks and will catch any small pieces of used wick and prolong the life of your candle.

Shipping Policy
We ship orders from Monday to Friday. Orders placed by early afternoon UK time will ordinarily be shipped the within 2-3 day. Orders placed after the daily cut-off time, during the weekend or on public holidays will be processed on the following working day. We will ship your order using the delivery method indicated at the checkout at the time of order. All deliveries must be signed for. Please ensure that someone will be available to accept delivery of your order. You agree to check without delay, and in any event not later than three days from receipt of your order, that you have received the correct items. Inform us of any defective products or errors in the order immediately by contacting our Customer Care team. If the package arrives in a visibly damaged condition, please refuse delivery or sign with a note stating that the packaging is damaged and the goods are unchecked. You are deemed to have accepted the goods if no notice of problem is made to us or the delivery agent within three days of delivery. If an order cannot be delivered to your indicated address successfully due to a lack of cooperation from you including, but not limited to, an incorrect telephone number or address, nobody being available to accept delivery at the address, or non-compliance with import regulations, your order may be returned to us in the UK at your expense, including any import fees that may be assessed. These costs will be deducted from any eventual refund. Delivery times are provided as guidelines only from the date of dispatch, and do not take into account possible delays caused by payment authorization and/or stock availability. We are unable to deliver to post office (PO) boxes, APO or FPO addresses.
Return Policy
HOW TO RETURN ITEMS To be eligible for an exchange, your item must be unworn, unwashed and in the same condition that you received it. Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you an exchange. To complete your return, please email our support team to get your unique returns reference. Any items returned without a note letting us know your unique returns reference is likely to experience long delays, or may not be identified at all. We do not cover the postage cost of returning the first item back to us, but we will cover the postage costs of sending your new item out to you. Once your returned item has been received and processed by the team, we will process your new order within 5 business days. If you'd like to check the status of your new order at any time, feel free to reach out to the team at modafirmateam@modafirma.com Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary. Please consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance.
