MUSIC FESTIVAL FASHION
Now that majority of adults are double vaxxed, gigs and music festivals are back on in full swing (anyone at Green man this weekend?!), which of course makes us very happy. To celebrate live music coming back into our lives we decided to do a music festival themed blog. But first, it is important to start with the basic question – what will the weather be like? Are you partying in rainy Britain, sunny Spain or California?
Here are some basic dos and don’ts of music festival fashion.
Do: Band T-shirts. What are your favourite bands/artists? Check their website for merch. They most likely sell some cool t-shirts. If they don’t have any t-shirts you like – you can always go for some classics such as Nirvana, The Smiths, Sonic Youth, New Order or The Beatles.
Don’t: white clothes (if you’re camping). If you’re in a hotel or somewhere sunny – go for it.
Do: Rain coat + wellies, it might not rain at all but it is worth having a pair with you
Don’t: Heels/wedges, you don’t want to be stepping on people’s feet in a mosh pit and even if you don’t mosh – just don’t.
Do: Tote bag, they’re cheap and easy to carry.
Don’t: big luxury handbag. It will just get annoying and in the way when dancing. You could also potentially ruin it.
Do: Hip bag – because what else do you need apart from money, phone and cigarettes?
