We all know sustainable fashion is hype right now. Organic was once synonym of garments absent of luxury or even beauty but nowadays there are great brands out there with unique and trendy items which are of high quality because of to the eco-materials chosen and sustainable manufacturing. Personally, since I start shopping for quality over quantity, I get a lot more compliments in my outfits and I feel a lot more comfortable wearing them.

Besides, fashion trends are cyclical so buying pre-owed items is a great way to look good while caring for environment. For example, both leather and fur are trending in the fall 2021 and winter 2022 collections, but not only there is many faux-leather and faux-fur sustainable alternatives from great brands out there, there is also the option to get items from 1990s or even 1960s because of the similarities in styles. I myself choose vintage and recycled over fast fashion any day of the week. Is exclusive and it tends to be better quality and so items can even be seen as an investment because they hold their value, especially luxury second-hand items, instead of something you will throw away as soon as the season finish, or worse leave it in a corner of your wardrobe just taking space and never being used. Plus, it feels special to buy a pre-owned bargain and give it a second life.
