Polo Ralph Lauren’s Polo Bear, seen in an artistic variation on this sweater, is an iconic symbol of both the brand and the playfully preppy aesthetic it’s best known for. However, this hasn’t always been the case. In fact, the motif was originally devised after Ralph Lauren and his brother were given two toy bears clad in the label’s clothing, inspiring the idea for an adorably elegant new mascot.
