ABOUT MELANDMOD
Created in partnership, we are Louise and Dan the founders behind the new genderless British skincare brand Mal & Mod. Beginning the journey in 2016, we studied natural organic skin formulation and advanced skin science to learn how to create skincare products that we could both use. It became our hobby! There was a real art to producing the products that we wanted; the texture, the fragrance, the feel and on top of this treating targeted skincare concerns and for different skin types. While completing the course, we became increasingly conscious of what we were exposing our skin to every day and so was inspired to create something we could both use to simplify our skincare routine. So, Mal & Mod was born…, based on a shared desire for a stripped back skincare approach for both genders.
Behind the Brand – The Why:
We recognise that women and men have some differences in their skin, however this doesn’t necessarily mean we require different skin care products and your skincare routine shouldn’t be dependant on gender. We wanted to strip away the complexity of being exposed to such a huge variety of skincare products for different areas of the face, simplify the whole skincare experience and empower men and women to reveal their optimum skin vitality through carefully chosen bioactive and plant based ingredients and a strong focus on sustainability.

The ingredients used in our 4 product capsule collection are the main focus in targeting different skin types that can be effectively used by men and women. Our products are made to adapt to specific skin needs for both genders through carefully selected skin-quenching bioactive ingredients and rejuvenating essential oil blends which help to help refine, revive and hydrate the skin. We wanted no compromise in luxury, performance and experience, and so in essence our range is all about simple steps to complete skin contentment for both men and women.

Active Treatment Balm
A transformative, multi-action treatment balm enriched with some of the finest natural extracts to cleanse, nourish and restore the complexion’s equilibrium and barrier function.
A blend of skin-loving, bio-active extracts, oils and butters creates a balm that glides effortlessly over skin to dissolve make up and daily impurities, double cleansing to reveal an energised, balanced complexion.
Skin is refreshed; soft, smooth and restored.

HOW TO APPLY
Apply generously to dry skin. Massage into the face, neck and décolletage. Add warm water and continue to massage for 1 minute. Buff away with a muslin cloth. Leave for 30 minutes as an intensive mask then rinse to remove.

- Glasswort – a moisture-locking adaptophile, helps regulate moisture levels, even skin tone and protect from environmental stress.
- Castor Oil – rich in Omega 9, helps soothe and stimulate repair of lifestyle induced skin damage, even skin tone and provides anti-bacterial action to help purify pores.
- Shea Butter – mineral rich, nourishing and comforting.
- Olive Oil – helps provide anti-oxidant protection while moisturising the complexion.
- Vitamin E – anti-oxidant protection against environmental aggressors.
- Camilia Oil – omega 6 rich to help reinforce the skin’s surface, hydrates and aids suppleness.
- Chia Seed Oil – omega 3 rich, helps soothe and calm stressed skin, while helping strengthening against further environmental damage.
- Pomegranate Seed Oil – helps protect, strengthen and repair the skin.
- Sweet Almond Oil – rich in essential minerals and Vitamins E and A to provide potent anti-oxidant protection and help gently decongest pores.

Shipping Policy
You will receive an email confirmation once your order has been successfully placed–it will include your order number and delivery method. Please make sure your address is correct as we are unable to redirect goods once they are on route to you. Orders can take up to 5 business days to be processed and shipped. Once your order is prepared for delivery you will receive a delivery confirmation email with your tracking information. Please also note that in some cases, your order may arrive in multiple shipments.

Return Policy
All returns must be made within 14 days of receipt of goods.
Refunds can only be made to the original payment method used to purchase products.
Goods must be unused and in original packaging.
All returned goods are subject to an assessment. Products which have been used, or where tamper-proof stickers have been compromised these will not be accepted. For all returns please email modafirmateam@modafirma.com
