Who we are? Madnezz is a Polish fashion brand that creates clothes for young and  strong women operating according to the "Girl Power" principle , who want to feel confident and feminine each day. Together with other women 'on board', we create #madnezzteam  - a young team in which each individual gives his personality and energy to the spirit of the brand's philosophy  - #madgirl What are our projects? The Madnezz brand was created out of love for quality and attention to every detail. The cuts are devilishly feminine and terribly perfect. Behind every project there is a story -  every dress is a different #madgirl. Some are extroverts from hell, real florentresses, others are extremely mysterious and subtle. They share one  all in "100% strong grandmothers", such as MADNEZZ brand customers.

We love comfortable Polish cotton and viscose knitwear. For the production of the MDNZZ collection we use only those covered by the Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certificate. We have based our philosophy on our brand, so if you are looking for a different kind of fabric, you will not find them. Cut all the clothes and sew locally.

Created in partnership, we are Louise and Dan the founders behind the new genderless British skincare brand Mal & Mod. Beginning the journey in 2016, we studied natural organic skin formulation and advanced skin science to learn how to create skincare products that we could both use. It became our hobby! There was a real art to producing the products that we wanted; the texture, the fragrance, the feel and on top of this treating targeted skincare concerns and for different skin types. While completing the course, we became increasingly conscious of what we were exposing our skin to every day and so was inspired to create something we could both use to simplify our skincare routine.  So, Mal & Mod was born..., based on a shared desire for a stripped back skincare approach for both genders.

Behind the Brand - The Why:

We recognise that women and men have some differences in their skin, however this doesn’t necessarily mean we require different skin care products and your skincare routine shouldn’t be dependant on gender. We wanted to strip away the complexity of being exposed to such a huge variety of skincare products for different areas of the face, simplify the whole skincare experience and empower men and women to reveal their optimum skin vitality through carefully chosen bioactive and plant based ingredients and a strong focus on sustainability.

Behind the Brand - The How:

The ingredients used in our 4 product capsule collection are the main focus in targeting different skin types that can be effectively used by men and women. Our products are made to adapt to specific skin needs for both genders through carefully selected skin-quenching bioactive ingredients and rejuvenating essential oil blends which help to help refine, revive and hydrate the skin. We wanted no compromise in luxury, performance and experience, and so in essence our range is all about simple steps to complete skin contentment for both men and women.

Maureen Vorswijk began her career in fashion, working in Amsterdam as a wardrobe stylist for theater shows, and several fashion projects. After designing her own lingerie and fashion collection her designs were also worn in music videos, photo shoots and fashion shows. After 8 years, Maureen made a career switch and she choose for her first love, Jewelry. While composing images for MAUKE V there was another mission which had to be accomplished as well. That was the moment a small lingerie collection was included and which she believes women would love to put their hands on. Maureen Vorswijk doesn't follow any particular style, thoughts or rules but has created an own individual style. She draws from inner inspiration, from images of ancient times seeking their way through her mind into her hands, art, photography, old magazines, when looking at her family, her trips to Surinam and Nigeria, personal transformation and her obsession for beautiful things. But the feeling she strives for is to create that piece of jewellery for her customers that makes them feel confident, feminine, strong the moment they put it on. Materials used are sterling silver, 14kt gold, a variety of handpicked gemstones from Africa and natural material such as leather cords for her entirely handcrafted and hand-polished jewelries.   Ethical Fashion Acts: Hand-crafted and hand-polished jewellery, quality leather

ABOUT MICHAEL GURHY

ARTIST STATEMENT My artwork primarily focuses on the figure, psychological portraits constructed from both fantasy and memory are then further informed by tear out pages of glossy high fashion magazines. The male figure within the work seems to challenge traditional images of male beauty that use strength and power as currency, these subjects are often passive, even tearful capturing some kind of inward battle or melancholia. Adorned in piercings and marked by symbolic tattoos and thick bodily hair, these features evoke the artists early experiences of masculinity and vulnerability. In opposition the female figures gaze seem more deliberate, bold and suggests a knowing or sense of premonition. Recurring themes within the work include vulnerability, mortality, sexuality, the uncanny and the transcendental. Animals such as deers, birds, foxes and wolves become symbolic messengers. There is a sacred/celestial component within the work that is both gentle and violent, destruction is linked with creation exorcising the old and paving the way for new cycles.
