Modafirma shipping and returns policy
Modafirma is an online marketplace for independent fashion designers and brands, when you shop on Modafirma you checkout in one process, it does not matter how many different designers you purchase from. We operate a third party policy, and use PayPal to carry out transactions which means that you are protected in terms of delivery and sales especially if you have buyer protection.
Here is how it works.
All shipping & delivery timing estimations are displayed in the product page and at checkout. When you place an order you will receive an order notification from PayPal letting you and the designer know that you order has been placed. The designer will then acknowledge your order within 24 hours. Once your order has been shipped, you will receive another notification email from PayPal confirming that your item is on the way. Source of shipping, tracking number, delivery outlet and returns information will be clearly illustrated when an order is made within the body of the email. Modafirma provides the technology and online virtual space for designers to sell directly to customers globally. When you buy from a boutique you are buying directly from that designer and are therefore, bound by their shipping and returns policies. So ensure to check out their shipping and returns policy at the bottom right hand corner of their boutiques. If you are unsure, you can readily contact the designer via the “send a message” buttons located in each boutique.
If you want to return something, you must tell the designer directly within 14 days of receiving the items. You have another 14 days to return the goods once you've told them. You can do this by logging on the platform, going to Modasocial and then purchases. You will be directed to the checkout area where you can see the status of your purchased item. From here you can send a message to the designer directly. You are responsible for paying to return the item. If the refund is approved, the seller will refund your payment directly to your account via PayPal once they receive the returned goods. All returned items must be unworn, unwashed and with the original tags attached. Refunds can only be issued to your original payment method. All items sold on a discount or on sale are considered non-refundable. Intimates, underwear, shapewear, bras, lingerie, bikinis, swimwear and earrings are also considered to be non-refundable.
