Exclusive to Fortnum’s, our 2023 First Flush Darjeeling Tea hails from the historic Badamtam Estate, where high altitude and cool Himalayan winds produce a superb aromatic spring tea with exceptional minerality and clarity. With an aroma reminiscent of green mangoes and an elegant and vibrant flavour with high fragrance, sweet fruity notes and long lasting minerality. As a black tea, the colour is quite light in the cup, with earthy green glints. To brew, heat freshly drawn water to 90°C and, using one rounded teaspoon of loose leaf tea per person, brew for approximately 3-5 minutes. Badamtam is best enjoyed without milk.
