The everyday woman is a woman suited to her everyday lifestyle, from a matching two-piece for the girl boss who has back to back meetings, to a staple tan trench for the woman that takes life on everyday like her runway. Whether you have a packed-to-capacity closet, or take a more minimalist approach, when it comes to fashion, there is always something for everyone.

The Matching Two-Piece Set

Why do I love matching sets? Because it’s like getting the easiest two in one deal at your favourite store. Not only can you rock this two-piece set together, but you can wear them separately and create a whole new outfit, your welcome minimalists. Not only for their efficiency, two-piece sets are the simplest, and most comfortable way to look put together; even when life isn’t. The ease in having a matching pattern appeals to the eye and instantly portrays a more coherent look. From business casual to making a quick run to the store, no matter where you are or who you run into, a matching two-piece set will always make you look your finest.

The Blazer Dress

Blazers make the perfect gift. For the last three years that’s all I’ve wanted. Nothing made me feel more powerful in the office than throwing a blazer over each of my outfits. When it comes to a girls night out blazers are seen as a bit too posh and business like. When wearing a blazer out and about or to a trendy event it needs to be dressed with an edgy pair of denim and graphic t-shirt. If you are looking for something more fancy and on-trend the blazer dress is a life saver. This sexy, party-ready is the older more sophisticated sibling to my favourite wardrobe staple. Flattering on every size shape and form, this outfit is likely to awaken the wild child within, whilst subsequently keeping it classy. Paired with a statement pair of earrings and a dainty bag, this look makes for the perfectly fashionable outfit to wear this season.

Cosy Coats

As it spring is starting to set in and the weather begins to warm up, well… not in London anyway, doesn’t mean that coats are going out of season. Trench coats, moose knuckles, puffer jackets and everything in between make for the perfect go-to outfit topper. You can dress them up or down. Not only will you be staying warm but because you are sporting the most current trends your Instagram feed will be on fire and as you walk down the road everyone will turn to sneak a look. Coats can easily be accessorised with a statement shoe and earrings. Want your curves to show through? Grab your favourite belt and cinch it around the your waist. Need to go right from an important work meeting to a night out with your girls? Instantly transform your outfits with a vinyl coat in a fun colour or pattern for some extra pizzazz.

The Classic White Shirt

There’s a reason that no matter the occasion, this versatile garment is always the perfect fit. Seen all throughout fast fashion stores to high-end fashion boutiques, the Classic White Shirt is the best outfit staple if you’re wanting to wear equal parts business, with a flirty element. Ranging from the narrow boxy cuts to beautiful asymmetrical silhouettes, this trend is a perfect addition. Whether your attending a business meeting or after work cocktail this is the garment that ensures you are always dressed for the occasion. It also has an added bonus; if you buy one size up from what you normally wear you can change the look and make it a shirt dress by wearing a belt to extenuate your waist. It definitely gives off a ‘I woke up like this’ laid back look, especially if you pair it with a classic pair of sneakers.

Denim

If this isn’t the only trend that never fails to make it back in fashion every year, then I don’t know what is. Available in every form: jeans, jackets, skirts, shorts, tops, it is hands down, the most flexible way to keep your outfit looking it’s paramount. A must have for everyone from 8 to 80, the denim jean is a piece you can’t dismiss. The beauty behind denim lies at it’s core: the fabric. I was always amused by the magic that denim holds and how, the more I wear it, the more gorgeous it begins to look. Denim is a trend that demands to be worn. Another wardrobe staple is light wash blue denim jacket that can be paired with almost everything you currently own in your closet! If you’re crafty, put your DIY skills to the test and add a fun fringe, an insane amount of vintage badges or shiny sliver studs. Remember, fashion is the personality you add to it and to keep your denim purchases sustainable!
