Minimalist fashion | Top influencer looks that we love
Today we would like to feature top influencer looks we spotted on instagram. The theme is minimalism – but with a personal twist. Personally, we are tired of seeing the same blue jeans, white top, long coat and sneakers look as a basis for minimalist fashion. So to challenge other minimalist street style bloggers we decided to explore minimalist looks but with more edge and character. Quite a few of the outfits are quite androgynous, or even masculine – we like to wear the pants. We have also featured softer and more feminine outfits to suit who you are. This suit by Jacquemus is a summer must-have, it is light, colourful yet still elegant to conduct business in. The peach colour is truly gorgeous and makes it also suitable for a fancy party. Whatever the occassion – it works. To keep the look simple we have paired the suit with BY FAR Iggy Slide Sandals. The sandals can be paired with most outfits – as long as it’s warm outside. To add a bit of edge and protect you from the sun we’ve also chosen to go for Bottega Veneta Cat-Eye Sunglasses and gorgeous Annie Lu gold necklace.
This suit by Arket is truly the suit we were looking for – oversized, good for business yet not too stiff, like many suits are, making it perfect for a day out with friends or to go to a rock show looking like David Byrne in the Big Suit .. if you get what we mean. Anyway, the suit can be paired with chunky leather shoes for a more serious look or converse for a casual look. We paired this with our favourite Versace watch, so not to lose the track of time.. where were we?
We love this outfit on @anainparis but to keep it true to our style we have found similar yet different items. One of our favourite designers this season is Jacquemus, (have you seen their summer 2021 show?) so of course we chose a white Jacquemus shirt. To keep the look somewhat minimal we stuck to neutral colours and went for Max Mara’s satin skirt, Maison Margiela Patchwork Mules and a Saint Laurent Wicker Bag – you can now put a banana in your bag and it’s probably not going to get squished (we suspect but cannot guarantee).
BLACK BLACK BLACK. Black blazer, black trousers, black bag and black shoes – this outfit is immaculate. We guarantee you will turn many heads when wearing it. We decided to break the black with a gold Alexander McQueen double necklace and a Jil Sander body suit. What’s not to love?
